Alice in Wonderland

We welcomed buses from Aged Care facilities and schools on weekdays.

The Art Trail covered a few miles radius of our local area.

The Open Studio Arts Trail is where people can discover a variety of local artists in the Armadale Hills area.

Each of the 24 artist will open their private studios to the public for an intimate view of their creative processes.

Three wonderful weekends where people go from studio to studio to meet the artists and learn about their art.

Art ranges from: water colors, pastels, inks, textiles, wood turning, pottery, stoneware, steel sculpture and of course teddy bears and dolls!   

There is a selection process for participants but all are diverse arts, however I am the first bear artist to be included in such an endeavour; for the second year now!

Our theme for this year Alice in Wonderland. It was a long work in progress this year but we are do delighted with the response.

Many people not wanting to leave the little area we had set up as Wonderland.

Some of the other artists came to visit and took selfies in the Wonderland Gallery.

Everyone was incredibly supportive and kind. All felt like little children again in the Wonderland,even if only for a moment.

The day was so busy with and amazing turn out from out local community and even beyond.

I had some amazing comments from the public from "Magical" to "Dreamland". One lady just sat for half an hour saying she did not want to leave as her eyes wandered over every piece.
