Born in western Pennsylvania and moving to northwest Ohio in her junior year of high school, Tracy Schupp has now settled in Findlay, Ohio with her two fur-children.
"For as long as I can remember, teddy bears have been a source of joy and comfort in my life. I have my first teddy bear from my childhood, he is well loved. A teddy bear was the first gift my husband gave me when we started dating; a quick way to my heart."
Fiber arts have played a part in Tracy's life for over 20 years.
"I love to knit and crochet, exploring many fibers and techniques."
She began creating teddy bears and little animals after her husband passed away. "Their little faces gave me such comfort and enjoyment."
Tracy is retired from working in public health and now can devote time to creating bears.
"My sisters, Jody and Amy and I began making a variety of bears. Each helping the other with the final piece.
Their bears and all their friends are made from beautiful faux furs and mohair fabrics.
"We consider the opportunity to create together a blessing. Therefore, our business is named ‘Little Blessings by Tracy’. We are having so much fun creating bears, cats, and original designs."
They currently sell bears online, on their website, on Bear Pile and in Bright Star and eBear online shows.
