"It's Not A Bear"

Contest

The 15th Annual Tampa Teddy Bear Show, sponsored by Bright Star Promotions, Inc., was held on Sunday February 16, 2020 at the new location; Quality Inn & Convention Center.

Each year a competition is offered for the artists to spark their imaginations and to engage with the show attendees, who then vote for their favorite piece on the contest table.

“When it comes to being creative, we feel teddy bear artists are on top of the list,” said Valerie Rogers, the show’s promoter.

Ten of the attending artists entered the "It's Not A Bear" contest. What they entered was a wide variety of critters. Made from mohair, plush, fur and needle felted.

This was by far, the hardest contest to pick your favorite. Collectors agonized over which one they wanted to win!
