My name is Humphrey and I was born in 1993 in Flagstaff, Arizona USA.
Currently living in Cottonwood, AZ, with my Mom and Dad, by the way of Florida and Hawaii; don't ask!

| My Annual Evaluation Results |

In July I flew from Arizona to Bears&Buds headquarters located in
Kentucky for my first annual review.
The night before my review I was nervous
and couldn't go to sleep.
I played a couple of songs on the guitar to relax and to calm my nerves!

The next morning I walked into the editor's office remembering the advice Max, my best friend, gave me.
I was on time, wearing a bow tie and bringing a rose
for the editor!
AND, yes I had taken a long bath.

During the interview the editor asked me some strange questions and took notes!
Do I like baseball?
What about fishing and camping?
Would I have any interest in Kentucky's history?
Not knowing the reason for the questions, I still answered 'yes'.
Then came the serious evaluation questions: salary increase, my vacation time and was I going to continue my monthly article?
Finally an agreement was made. Yes, I will continue my 'tales' article.
Although I'm still not sure of the editor's reactions to some of my questions! (see below)

At the end of the interview I was handed a wrapped box.
The boss said I
earned this for my past great work and this makes my title 'official'.
Upon opening
the box I discovered business cards with my name on them and my title of 'Cub
Reporter' and 'Journalist' - WOW!

I was so excited I jumped up and gave the editor a hug!

During the next few days we celebrated my new position with Bears&Buds by going to the local sites along
with camping and fishing.
Also we went to a factory that makes baseball bats
for the professional players.
SO.. that's why all the strange questions -
that was part of my reward along with the business cards.

Later in the week we traveled to the Bright Star Teddy Bear Show on July
21, 2013 in Columbus, Ohio, where I reported on the event.
I made a few
'official' announcements from the podium and was so proud to hand out my very
own business cards.
I impressed the girl bears with the cards . . . thanks
boss! |
